Veracruz Regional (VCR)

The VCR format was created by us as a banner for directly-traded coffees we purchase from Veracruz, Mexico. The objective is to highlight the consistency of flavors that come out of this region, while maintaining a direct line of importing from Veracruz to Austin. This mixed varietal offering comes from our partner mill, APG Specialty Coffee. Located in Coatepec, APG controls all the cherry processing from various small holders to compose this coffee. This allows for exact control over fermentation times and the quality of coffee. Expect consistent comfort cups from VCR, with an emphasis on chocolate notes with a light amount of caramel and almond. An excellent choice for cold brewing or a mellow daily cup.
