Ethiopia Chelbesa One

2100 MASL / Fully Washed / Korume & Wolisho 

Nestled within the Gedeb Zone in Ethiopia sits the Chelbesa One Washing Station. Approximately 1000 farmers deliver coffee to the Chelbesa One Washing Station each year. These cherries are immediately water sorted then depulped and left to ferment in tanks for 2-3 days. The coffee is then washed and placed on raised beds for drying. After 7-10 days the coffee will reach the desired water content and be prepared for shipment. This time tested method results in a beautiful end product that showcases one of the finest examples of washed Ethiopian coffee.
