Released from the catacombs, our yearly dark roast Black Mass has once again appeared. This year’s offering comes from our fresh crop Guatemalan coffee, San Lorenzo. Black Mass is created to explore the outer realms of deep sugar development in coffee. The custardlike mouthfeel augments into a flavorful toasted marshmallow, while the depth of roast creates a deep, luxurious note of black forest cake. The deeply caramelized sugars are reministent of breaking into the top of a freshly toasted crème brûlée with a hint of candied cherry.
